Pace Tech
specializes in compact, rugged mass spectrometers as field instruments.
Our mass spectrometer systems have an especially wide mass range,
allowing the investigator to rapidly obtain analytical results on many
species, thereby increasing the geochemical knowledge of any system
under investigation.
PRODUCTS
Our
autonomous,
marine in situ or underwater mass spectrometer systems, such as the
MassSURFER and the DOMS were built to sustain full-ocean pressures, but
variants can be used in nearly any aqueous environment. Pace Tech also
supplies separate electronics support units for REFIMS units and system
software.
FUTURE DEVELOPMENTS
New
developments include the 3HMS, a design improvement upon the REFIMS, an
improved digital RF drive, and Generation 4 support electronics.

Can Dogs Smell Cancer?
Dr. Solouki and his
team have developed the first state-of-the-art device (Gas
Chromatography /Fourier Transform Ion Cyclotron Resonance Mass
Spectrometry equipped with a Preconcentrator and a Cryofocuser) to
acquire breath "fingerprints" to help identify biomarkers for the
early detection of diseases.
